The Price of Fame.

Hello my lovelies!

It's Monday again, I know, tch!

But I hope you all had an amazing weekend

I hope I can read all about it!

I wanted to show you this huge wallet which my sister gave me

It's the prettiest only thing my sister has ever given me lolol

But really! it's so pretty and huge!

It's has a very cute design, I specially adore the bears!

It's also covered in some kind of transparent sequence

making it all smooth and shiny. 

It has three folds plenty of space for stuff

But sheesh! I don't have a lot of cards lol

When I was in high school, I used to keep my wallet big and bulky

not with money but with photos and notes from friends lol

I was really grateful since it was unnaturally so very sweet of her

But then I asked, "What am I going to do with an 'empty' wallet?!" 

Little sister, next time you give me a wallet, make sure it has a little something for me!

So I guess everyone here knows who Michelle Phan is right?
I myself, enjoyed watching her videos although I haven't seen her most recent ones yet
But her previous tutorials were fantastic!
And then I saw this.

The photo above as Michelle said, was her sketch.

And then someone managed to find her photo reference
AND....

managed to create a gif file while overlaying the two images.
Thus, making it seem like Michelle P. is some kind of fake.
I came across this article while I was stalking a very pretty girl's tumblr page.

I don't really know how long this has been going but it shocked me, really.
Cause Michelle seemed like a girl with Disney Princess qualities lol, you know. 

True to herself, sweet, modest, she talks about dreams and ambitions
and how girls can do it, she's quite the role model. 

Well I guess things can change, now that she's high profile and still climbing up the social ladder.
Gaining a few haters and an attitude problem to match is nothing new.
But it's weird cause it's Michelle Phan, she had that goody goody image.
And to see people hating her came as quite a shock.
Haters calling her show off, unoriginal, flirt, fake and just.. not everything as she claimed herself to be..
With photographs and her own blog entries and posts as proof, nightmare! 

Do you think she deserves all the hate she's getting right now?

I'm asking cause Michelle Phan pretty much started off like.. well like this!

She was just a blogger who became really famous, I do believe that she is a nice person.
And who knows you could be the next blog celebrity!
I guess once you decide to put yourself out there, you have to be well aware that it's almost like
presenting yourself up for critique, and critiques are hardly ever good.
So once you decide that you want to be famous through a medium of self-expression,
 be prepared and double check your archives.

I want your opinions dearies.
If you were given a choice.. Are you willing to advertise your blog? 
(With all the sponsors and endorsements you can make a living out of blogging)

Or would you rather keep your posts to yourself and just a few others?
(And keep everything nice and quiet)

I'm sorry it's too long and there's not much pictures ._.

gone are My Rainy Days

Hello lovelies!

How are you?

I forgot to ask your opinion regarding my layout.  

I changed it from red and black to pink and white.
I've been craving for fluff and cuteness for no reason lately. 

Does it look okay to you? or do you prefer my old one?

Nothing much happened to me this week

Just getting a complete rest from the Holiday frenzy.

But I managed to purchase a few purses a couple of days ago 

They were really cheap and I thought I could use one or two.

I got the phone case from my sister.

It was a Christmas present for her 

which I wanted more than she did.

She wasn't going to use it anyway! 

I am not a purse person or an hand bag person.

I'm more into big shoulder bags and totes.

But I thought the purse above looked really nice

I think it's perfect for an awesome night out! 

Not that I have many night outs ._.

When I saw this, I went, "Oh my gosh, so vintage!"

As it turned out, it didn't look classy or vintage on me.

It looked granny! 

Sucks when you go for vintage and end up granny ugh. 

Or is it just me? ._.

I gave it to my grama, she loved it lol

I might never use this purse in my lifetime

But I thought it looked really cute

and it was just begging to be bought.

Maybe my sister could use it come prom night. 

Oh! I saw this film yesterday. 

It's called, "My Rainy Days"

Have you seen this film before?

It's a story about an extremely beautiful girl, Rio.

Rio gets what she wants, when she wants it

even if she has to use other people to get it. 

That is until she met Kouki, a 35 year old professor.

They coincidentally share the same last name.

Attracted by his cold and resistant personality,

 She soon finds herself falling in love for the first time.

Confident, aggressive and a little confused, 

 Rio expresses her feelings for him honestly. 

Kouki shows interest but is quite hesitant.

Determined, she chooses extra school work over her trendy and lavish lifestyle,
Just so she can spend more time with Kouki.
Her friends, all but one, were very supportive of her.

I have to end it here lol

I know it kind of sounds eww at first,
 I mean the guy is 35 and Rio is like, 17.
But give it a chance! I totally fell for the guy's character.
Yay for cold, emotionless guys! lol

I really enjoyed watching this film.

Kind of Korean drama-ish but it works well for me.

It has plenty of very cute and heart warming scenes over a series of dark plot devices
(Bullying, prostitution, rape, suicide, blackmail and yuri even)
What I liked most about this movie is that it has the charm to make you laugh and giggle
despite the plenty of negative elements revolving around it.
A complete shut off from the *koizora effect* aka. hurting and crying and stuff.

I recommend this to anyone who fancies Asian movies.
This movie made me laugh in the first few scenes and had me crying over the next few.

If not for the story, then watch it anyway!
 Nozomi Sasaki looks incredible and don't get me started with her outfits! *u*

Man! writing a summary/review while trying to avoid spoilers is hard stuff

A message to my lovelies!

First off, I am so sorry my dears for being such a horrible blogger! 

I know I failed to fulfill my blogger responsibilities for the past few weeks days.

I was incredibly busy helping my mom with her Holiday preparations.  

Baking sweet stuff and doing some last minute shopping and so on.

Not to mention my now incredibly awful gift wrapping skills

(They were going to get torn anyway!)

So here is the mighty fruit cake we've been working on!

We had bulk orders to fill, so lots of work.

It has plenty of fruits and wine lol. 

My entrepreneurial skills weren't so good

but at least they were selling well on their own ._. 

So, in case you lovelies were wondering, I spent Christmas Eve here at work.

It was pretty sad at first but we had the whole night to ourselves

with plenty of food and no authority, so it was fun. 

Christmas was spent at home with the family and the boyfie

We went to visit a few relatives who all said I'm old enough to do the "giving"

 My presents were mostly clothing so I was pleased lol

After that, boyfie and I went out to celebrate.

It has been our tradition ever since :)

So.. it's 2011! Can you believe it?! 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, (my lovelies) for 

putting up with me for the past year. 

It was full of ups and downs, mood swings, rants, bad grammar, 

improper alignments, photos of myself, spelling errors, short comments, 

bad photos, photos of myself... lolol!

So yes, it was really bad T3T

Twisted Thoughts was created so I could  express my thoughts and opinions. 

I always thought my posts were boring and uninformative, not to mention irrelevant.

But I still went with it because it really does help me a lot,
specially if I'm stressed or under a lot of pressure.

I never would have thought that I would gain so many friends through blogger.
Some of the best ones I have are from here, too.

Friends from the US, Netherlands, Japan and more, yes you!

I can't thank you enough!

I know I haven't seen any of you dearies.
But now, it does feel like we really know each other ne?

And to think that this blog served no other purpose but to allow me
to share with you guys a bit of myself, and of course the tons of things
I never told any of my friends irl.

(Yes! only the best friend and the boy friend knows the existence of this blog)

This New Year, I pray the best of everything for everyone!
Wealth, Health and Happiness, yes?

I don't plan on making any resolutions.
I never quite lived up to any of the ones I made in the past.
So my only goal is to make sure that when I look back at 2011
It's going to be worthwhile :)
