Of nails and bunnies.

You know that feeling you get when you have something all planned out and everything is just perfect. You have all the stuff you need, the time, the money and you're just waiting for that perfect moment? But then for some weird, bizarro, cosmic reason the universe decides to, for the lack of better word/s, fuck you up. And something would come up at the very last minute, totally ruining everything, well almost everything if not everything :/

That's my life right there, I feel like I'm cursed. If I'm up to something I'm really excited about, It'll get all screwed up, something is bound to happen that would keep me from doing what I wanted to do, it may be a shopping spree with my friends, it could be anything really.

But I'm working on a solution, I plan to break this aweful curse. Like a plan inside a plan lol inception ahahah! Well, here's my work around, If I'm planning on something, I shall not specify the date nor will I ponder or daydream about the event nor will I anticipate it, I will do my best to neutralize myself and keep myself from getting way too excited. 

I shall be discreetly spontaneous, yes.

I sound like a pessemistic party pooper but we'll see what happens.

It's not really a big problem and I can usually bear the disappointments but what I really hate is disappointing others, specially if they are special to me. So hopefully this little trial and error thing would harbor good results, And I'm sorry if I sound like a crackhead. I hope the cat and food photos were able to compensate for this untimely rant.

I uploaded a photo of my nails on Instagram and I realized I typed in "Miffy" on the caption

instead of "Usazukin". They are both kawaii bunny characters and I feel so ashamed of myself for that >.< I didn't know what I was thinking!

 

My nails for today were inspired by these photos of the gorgeous Gemma Ward.

Absolutely stunning! I most specially love the color combination on her ensemble and the cute

modified design, too! I wanted to draw a lotus on my nails but I couldn't soo...

Decals will have to do.

Nifty Nail Haul!

I remember my first encounter with colored nails, I was four. We were at a party I think and I was seated beside my horrible aunt with her long golden nails. I was so fascinated by it that I never stopped staring and so she looked at me and told me she wears fake nails so she can pick her nose easily, EWW. I know right? HAHA! Anyway, after that nail encounter, I asked my dad if I can paint my nails, he said no. But after he finished cutting my nails, he applied some Merthiolate to give my nails a pink shade. That was the start of it. 

Sorry for the random nail tale but I am currently staring at this lot of nail stuff I bought the other day, wondering how it got here and why I am poorer than my usual poor self. 

Cheap ass nail polish, lady said it's from Korea, but it might be one of those class A knock offs. Iono, it's pretty good though. Very easy to apply, creamy consistency and dries really fast. Still a bit expensive for something that came in a plastic bag. 

Nail water decals, I've always wanted to try these out so I bought a few for test run. 

Shit load of decals and stickers lol! If you look closely, far right you'll notice there's a Maruneko print right there! I'm really excited to try these out, think I'm gonna bring some at work and set up my own spa. 

Here you can see my first attempt at water decals. Water decals are evil, one size does not fit all! As you can see my nails are really wide and the decals can't even cover them properly so I guess this can be remedied by applying a similar colored base first. But anyway, even if the decals discriminate against my large nails, I still think it's pretty, cute and easy to apply and will definitely purchase more in the future. 

Now I've also been busy reading a few books I borrowed from a good friend of mine. These are really good! It's about love, magic and voodoo and witchcraft and so on, didn't even notice I was already halfway through when I started reading so you bookies better check these out. 

I'm gonna go and try to post my recent Kawaii acquisitions within this week, these came in yesterday so I'm really stoked! I'm just gonna go get ready for work, hoping for a fantabuolous week ahead!
